Omg! I only slept for 2 hours! Slept at 2am, woke up at 4am.
The reason: Was on the phone with QQ till 2am. Woke up at 4am to send Calvin to the airport for his flight to USA at 710am.
And dad sent me to work at 730am cos I had Parent-Teacher Conference(PTC) from 8am to 2pm.
Met Nurul and Jasbir at 330pm at IMM for some shopping and catching up till 730pm.
QQ sent me home (smooch u baby), and I'm extremely drained. My eyes are drooping!
I miss my brother!
I tahan-ed my tears... cannot cry. He'll be back in January next year for the preparations. Omg, my little brother has grown up! Now I feel like I'm the younger sister.
And have decided to go back to brown hair. Sick of black hair, it's boring. Lol.. and many parents commented that I look better with brown hair. Even my kids love it!! Haha~
Not very obvious, but it's still brown. ZZzzzzzzzz......
It's been 2 months! And we've been meeting E-V-E-R-Y-D-A-Y!! And we never get sick of seeing each other!!! I'm looking forward to seeing him everyday.
Baby helped me alot in my work, cutting and pasting documentations... vocabulary words for the word bank. I truly appreciate your efforts!
The pretty card.
Sweet!
Err... sorry about the crease.. It was kept in my bag... but I still love it! Baby surprised me this morning by sending me to work at 630am. And he finished cutting all my vocabulary words. And he made toasted bread with peanut butter and omelette for me! My kids saw me eating the bread and she asked,
"Wah, your bread smell so nice. Who make for you? Your mother?"
I shook my head and continued eating.
"Your father?"
I shook my head.
"I know! Must be your boyfriend."
I smiled.
Then she surprised me by saying:
"Your boyfriend really really love u a lot hor. So good make bread for you to eat and open the car door for you. Wa... really love."
I was stunned. Coming from a six year old. But I admit, her words are true! Lucky me!! =D
Thank you baby! Smoochesssss~***********
A sneak preview of THE WEDDING dress that I am going to wear for my little brother's church wedding:

Chio!
Lol! It's Friday tomorrow! Yay!
I'm sick today. Really really sick. I think there's a virus going on in my class. Some of my kids vomited yesterday and this morning. I'm feeling nauseous too but I forced myself not to puke. My body was aching, my head was throbbing and my tummy was churning. Not a good feeling.
Still went to school in the morning and took my own temperature. 37.1 degrees Celsius. One girl asked me, "Teacher Amanda, why my head like going round and round. I very giddy."
I think she's getting sick too. Out of the 26 kids I have, only 17 turned up today. My temperature went up to 37.7 degrees and I couldn't take it. I took the rest of the day off and went to see a doctor.
The nurse thought I had H1N1. Kept asking me whether I travelled recently, and asked me to sit outside the clinic while others were inside enjoying the aircon. Doctor took my temperature and it was a soaring 39.1 degrees. He kept checking my throat and lungs for sore throat or cough/breathing difficulties. Lucky I'm clear, if not I'll be sent to TTSH.
2 days of MC. Still feel like puking.

Met up with Jacqueline on Saturday for shopping at a flea market. But it was too crowded and hot that we divas couldn't stand it. Lots of jostling and pushing and young kids making their way around. Cannot tahan. We needed aircon and went to Marina Square to chill for 2 over hours just catching up on the latest gossips. So fun!!! We should meet up often right babe!?

Singapore Philatelic Museum
QQ brought me to the museum on Sunday! I thoroughly enjoyed myself! It's so interesting looking at all the stamps and letters of yester years.
Cool and funky decor
Looking at the world's most expensive stamp!
These stamps glow in the dark!
Really old school looking stamp booklet vending machine!
A trip down memory lane.... I remember my grandma used to have these clogs in her house, and we always wear it and make alot of tock tock sound!

=)
Read this. You can see the bigger version on my Facebook. So true, especially the last sentence: Those born in the Year of the Ox and the Year of the Rat get along. =D
Looking at the different mail boxes around the world.
I was telling him about the dragons on the China mailbox and he snapped a pic!
The Singapore Philatelic Musuem
I love going to museums. Really broadens one's horizons and knowledge. Finally, someone who appreciates the arts. =)

It's the simple things in life that makes it all worthwhile.
Squabbles are inevitable. Through these little disputes, we grow to learn more about each other, and learn how to appreciate one another.
Simple gestures, simple acts that can leave a lasting impression...
A cool cup of surprise Peppermint Green Tea on a sweltering mid day afternoon at my centre....

My kid's version of the Flower Car

Zipping around town in said Flower Car

Visiting the Singapore Flyer (never again!)

Admiring the city skyline.
Watching the playful kitten terrorizing a little crab.
And just being there.... for each other.....
The simple but lasting memories.
What a chef! Look at my lunch!

A full western meal! Black pepper pork chops with mashed potato, baked beans and french fries all prepared single-handedly by QQ!
And it tastes as good as it looks!! =D
And for my breakfast......

French fries, cheese omelette, nuggets and fish. Absolutely sinful!
What a SNAG!! =D
